About Us

<inetitalia> was started by Lucio Miranda in 1997. Born in Italy, Lucio Miranda has been living in New York since 1993. He earned an MBA at the Stern School of Business - NYU in 1995 after attending the Bocconi University in Milan. He worked in marketing and sales at Alitalia Airlines in several countries.  His last position was in New York as Sales & Marketing Manager North America.

For over one year <inetitalia> run the e-commerce operations of Coppi.net, selling high-end race bicycles online. Later, Lucio Miranda became the U.S. Marketing Director of Discoveritalia.com , a joint operation between De Agostini Publishing and SEAT - Pagine Gialle. He is currently a Member of the Board of IACC and represents BresciaExport for the West Coast in the U.S.

Even though most of <inetitalia>’s clients are Italian companies, Computer Associates, Bayer Pharmaceuticals and the IACC - Italy America Chamber of Commerce are among the U.S. based clients.

Lucio Miranda wrote two books about Internet Marketing that were published in 2000 and 2001.

He worked with the Milan Chamber of Commerce on a variety of projects and taught Web Marketing at several executive MBA programs in Italy.
